Carnet is free and complete on your device, with no account and no time limit. You only pay for the managed practice — the “managed service” of the contract: sync between your devices, encrypted backups kept, recovery door, remote locum cover and support. In practice:
- Your records on your phone during rounds, and on your computer in the evening.
- Phone lost or broken: you get your records back, with your recovery sheet (8 words).
- Holidays, illness: a colleague takes over your patients, and you cut off their access when you return.
- A question: the author of the software answers you, by email and in your language.
In short
- Price per seat, monthly or yearly (the year costs ten months), excluding tax, in the currency shown for your country — see the table below.
- In Switzerland, the publisher sells directly and you pay by QR-bill (bank transfer), in advance. No VAT is charged: the publisher is not VAT-registered.
- Outside Switzerland, sales have been open since 9 October 2026, country by country. You pay by card; the sale is made, and the payment collected, by Paddle, our official reseller (merchant of record), which invoices the VAT or sales tax of your country and issues your receipt.
- 30-day trial, locum cover included, nothing to pay and no payment method to give. The subscription only starts if you confirm it.
- Support in your language: French, English, German, Italian or Spanish.
- Stop at any time: what you paid in advance and did not use is refunded pro rata of the unused days.
Paying by card outside Switzerland
Paddle is the seller. It sells you the managed service, collects the card payment, calculates, collects and pays over the tax of your country, issues your receipt and carries out the refunds that Carnet owes you.
- Tax. The prices in the table exclude tax. Paddle adds the VAT or sales tax of your country and shows you the total before you pay. As read on 08.10.2026, it adds VAT of 19% in Chile and 22% in Uruguay, and no tax in Argentina or Panama; the amount it shows you before you pay prevails. Any tax your own tax regime imposes on you remains yours.
- Your card details go to Paddle, never to Carnet. You enter them in Paddle’s payment form, on the page that your payment link opens. The publisher gives Paddle only an opaque technical identifier of your sync account — never patient data, which Carnet cannot read anyway. On your card statement, the charge appears as “PADDLE.NET” followed by an asterisk and “CARNET”.
- Renewal. The subscription renews itself at each due date, monthly or yearly as you choose, until you stop it. Payment reminders come from Paddle; Carnet sends none.
- Who your legal seller is is stated in Paddle’s buyer terms. Your use of Carnet remains governed by Carnet’s terms (links at the end of this page).
Prices by country
Per seat, excluding tax. The yearly price is ten times the monthly price. One price, no scheduled increase: Carnet never changes the price of your subscription without your express agreement.

- Stopping. Write to us from any country. Stopping takes effect on the day of your message, or on the date you give.
